You’d think campus would be empty during the summer, but we were surprised to see how many peeps were in town working internships and taking classes. We decided to take advantage of the opportunity to hit up our classmates while they were less distracted than during the regular school year, and chat with them about modern slavery. Turned out this was a great idea! We got a chance to have in-depth and candid conversations with our friends while letting them know this is a big issue — not just overseas, but right here on our very own campus. And that inspired us to create our new campaign, Make GW a Slavery-Free Campus. Wait til you see what’s coming next!
