| Film screening: Trade |
The George Washington University |
|
March 21, 2013 |
TFP at GW will be screening the movie "Trade," starring Oscar-winner Kevin Kline, on March 21. The film is based on Peter Landesman's article "The Girls Next Door" about child sex slaves, which was featured as the cover story in the January 24, 2004 issue of The New York Times Magazine. Well-researched using anti-slavery experts as consultants, Trade is often viewed as one of the most realistic films about human trafficking to date. Gritty, gripping and powerfully motivating, you won't want to miss this!
